What's up with ; Dong Bang Shin Ki / Tohoshinki
it changed pretty much, since our last report about DBSK, because if someone though, the korean boyband would be like other casting-bands to be forgotten, those were wrong!
In the Year 2006 they startet there move in Asia, and since then it seems that they are unstopable.
After they won 2007 already some National, but also International Awards taking home with them, they released in January 2008 there first japanese No. 1 Hit „Purple Line“. But thats not enough! Already in April the same year there single „Beautiful You / Sennen Koi Uta“ also at the top of the Oricon Daily Charts and made DBSK to the first non-japanese-band wit two No 1 places. The 4th Album „Mirotic“ from Dong Bang Shin Ki, so the korean name of the Band, became the most saled Album of the Year in there Motherland Korea. End 2008 became DBSK through a invitation to the yearly held „Kohaku Uta Gassen“, a named Musicbroadcast , to the yearend, from the japanese music industrie finaly officialy to one of the best Bands in Japan acknowledged.
„The rising Gods of the East“ are bringing there Name all honor, because also 2009 it seems like, there run of good luck it hasn't faded away yet.
The actual Single „Share the World/ We Are“ leads both Oricon Daily as well as Oricon Weekly Charts and was chosen as the new „One Piece“ Opening Soundtrack, while the sales figure for the 4th Album „The Secret Code“ breaks all Rekords.
As the most photographed Stars of the World they created this Year for the second time in the „Guiness-Book of Records“. It is by guessing, that the number would be since there debut about 500 mill. Pieces. The firts „Guiness- Book“ entry they got where a Year ago for the largest Official Fanclub in the World „Cassiopeia“ with more than 800.000 registered Members.
Pretty current is DBSKs song „Rising Sun“ as a Backgroundmusic for a short chase in the 4th Part of the successful Film series „Fast & Furious“ to hear in the german Cinemas. Also it will for the Boys soon another Dream to come true, because of there Final of ther current Japan-Live-Tour they are allowed to play at the Tokyo Dome, one of the biggest Concert halls in Japan.
We can be curious about there Future what else it will bring, we are totaly sure, that we didn't heard for the last time about U-Know Yunho, Xiah Junsu, Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun and Max Changmin....
